In detail this is the way that it works:

1. Locum-Tenens Employers and Search Firms may register as:

New Health Care OR Pharm/BioTech OR Agency Staffing OR Search Firms

2. If you have a Job or Position Description and email it to us:  We  will format your job descriptions for all registered candidates to evaluate.  We will then provide you your own page on our site with an edited employer profile which potential Candidates may use to evaluate your job opportunity for their Locum-Tenens and/or Permanent Job requirements.  You may approve of all content.  Candidates may search for Jobs

3. Registered Employers and Search Firms may sign in and search for job seeking candidates by specialty or location, OR location and specialty for candidates available for locums, permanent, and locums leading to permanent positions.  Candidates may search for Employers

4. Once you register a job description our computer may identify positions that match your job descriptions with candidates whose background and goals meet your requirements.  We may then send you very targeted emails with links to your job descriptions and a matching candidate on the same web page.  Employers may search for Candidates

5. Once a position has been identified, you may use a one button click at the bottom of each matching job description with a candidate to notify us by email that this is a possible candidate you may be interested in.  Once registered we will automatically fill in your email to be sent with your contact information.  Nothing could be any easier.

6. We will then notify the potential candidate and provide them your edited job description without any identifying or contact information in it.

7. Once mutual interest is established and with both parties' permission, we will put you in contact with the potential candidate.  If both parties agree, we will make arrangements to get you together with the selected candidate such as arrange for a candidate's travel and lodging, and provide you both with a contract for services or arrange an interview for a permanent position.  If a locums assignment, we will also provide needed professional liability insurance if needed and provide you the employer with copies of documentation needed from the candidate (for example hospital privileges if needed).

8. Fees: All of our fees for both locums and permanent positions are paid by our clients, never by job seekers.  For locum-tenens we will establish a rate that is fair to both parties and have each party sign a contract for services to be provided. You as a potential employer or search firm may post position descriptions for either permanent or locum-tenens jobs.  For Locum-Tenens assignments, we bill you the client and pay our Locum provider, including travel expenses is applicable.  For locums leading to permanent positions or permanent jobs we will bill you at our established rates for placement services provided. The advantage is that a locums may provide needed services while both as the potential employer and the candidate may simultaneously evaluate each other.   

9.  How do I register a candidate for a Job?  If you have a job seeking candidate for our registered search firms and potential employers to consider, we will allow their profiles to be posted on our site.  There is a link on our Home Page for candidates requesting services (click) or paste this URL into your browser http://locum-tenens.com/IndCanReqServ.asp  For Health Care Facilities or 6.000 Employers assisting out placed candidates, simply enter the candidates name and phone number etc. into the form and submit it to us.  We will do the rest.  For Search Firms, make sure the candidate is not already registered with us and if not, paste an edited CV (no contact information) into the CV area, enter the candidate's name, email (or yours), and either your phone number (or theirs) and submit.  This candidate will only be contacted if there is a matching position description.  Their CV will never be sent to anyone without their (or your) written permission.   The alternative is to register your candidate as a candidate by selecting the appropriate Job Seekers Register box on the left hand side of each page and enter candidate information and edit out their contact information substituting yours.
